THE OPPORTUNITY
Job Overview
Chargehand Foreman required for an outstanding company based in Rustenburg with;
YOUR ROLE
Responsibilities
o Grade 12
o Supervisor Training
o Must have completed an apprenticeship and be in possession of recognised trade
o Trade Tested Section 13 or 26
o 3 years’ experience in the maintenance supervising of TMM LHD’s, Dump Trucks, Drill Rigs and Roof Bolt Equipment in an underground mining environment
o Medically fit
o Valid driver’s license
o Supervision and leadership
o Work coordination
o Training and development
o Quality control
o Health and safety
o Equipment and material management
o Reporting and project planning
o Customer relations
o Compile and circulate daily, weekly and monthly reports
o Mange and control on site consignment stock
o Mange a team and site
o Lead the OEM maintenance contract on site / mine
o Lead the site crew with planned maintenance
o Liaise with mine foreman and engineers
o Safeguard existing business and promoting new business
o Ensure site safety and manage site PPE
o Daily inspections
o Mange HR issues, discipline, time and attendance, overtime and leave for the site
o Complete commissioning and decommission reports where applicable
o Drive the availability of spares required
o Lise between site crew and mine foreman
o Mine meetings
o Conduct and record toolbox inspections
o Functional reporting to mine foreman and engineer
o Give training on site.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Requirements
o Grade 12
